Glasgow School of Art Library


I happened to stumble across this interactive panorama of the library at the Glasgow School of Art. The room is one of Scotland's modernist masterpieces. 

Luckily it escaped the 1960s trend of abandoning historic university libraries - to be replaced with buildings that fit with the design brief of the Glasgow University librarian, who called for his new university library to be a 'warehouse' for keeping books.
